Geoffrey Moss is one of the premier award-winning conceptualists in illustration. Known for his unique thinking as well as his classical drawing ability, he was the first to be internationally syndicated as a "non-traditional editorial" satirist through the Washington Post, which began publishing his political drawings in 1974. He is currently syndicated through Creators Syndicate/Los Angeles. Moss has been nominated several times for the Pulitzer Prize.

Moss was most recently commissioned by the Norman Rockwell Museum to create a drawing celebrating Rockwell's centennial. He has also designed sets for the Brooklyn Academy of Music's "Next Wave Festival" and illustrated concert and theatre posters. Moss also has contributed annual reports and advertising campaign illustrations for many clients, including Apple Computer, Time, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB Needham, The New York Times, Newsweek and Pepsi.

Moss has written and illustrated children's books, including his Henry's Moon and Arthur's Artichoke. He has won the Art Director's Club of New York's Silver Medal for his book The Art and Politics of Geoffrey Moss (forward by Dan Rather) and its Gold Medal for his drawings for Gulliver's Travels.

Articles on Moss have been featured in Graphis, Communication Arts, and People. His work has appeared in numerous exhibitions. He is known for his innovative lectures at Universities and conferences. Moss is a graduate and Distinguished Alumni of the University of Vermont and he earned a B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the Yale School of Art & Architecture.
